I recently had an interesting conversation with a few people. We were talking about what we wanted to do moving forward in our lives and in our careers. Someone shared that they had recently gotten a degree and weren’t sure what to do with it. I let them know that you create in your mind what you want to accomplish with a degree… you don’t have to follow the status quo in terms of what a degree should get for you in terms of a job.

I said: “Create an image in your mind of how you want to serve. There’s a multitude of ways that this could be put to use in a way that would be enjoyable for you, where it doesn’t even feel like work.” This person’s response was: “I believe you, I can see it’s working for you but deeply, I don’t believe it.”

How many times do we get excited about doing something and consciously, we believe we can do it because we’ve seen other people do it, so we know it’s possible, but then we also have these reservations, wondering if it really is possible?

I’m here to tell you that IT IS POSSIBLE. Whatever you want to create in your life, you have to get clarity in your mind first, because everything is created twice – first in your conscious mind and then again in visible form – so getting clarity in your mind about what you want, not what you think you can get. What you want, not ‘what you think you’re worthy of’. You want to set a goal that is worthy of your greatness.

We have no idea what we’re capable of doing. Our potential is vast! We limit ourselves simply by the thoughts that we think and the programming that’s going on in our subconscious mind.

My clients all have different aspirations. Some people come to me because they’re working in a job and they just don’t feel that passion anymore; they want to be the boss of themselves and work on their own terms. I have other people who have retired from their jobs and they loved their job and are still serving in that capacity on some level, but now they’re thinking: “what do I want? What do I really want to do? Where do I want to travel? Where have I always dreamed of going? What kind of experiences do I want to have? What’s the legacy I want to live?”

For me, getting into this way of work was less about being an entrepreneur and more about creating time freedom for myself. I loved my career and I’m so grateful for it. I didn’t have a bad assignment in almost 28 years of service. But I was commuting to work, 6am-6pm… that doesn’t leave a whole lot of time for passions that I had and connecting with other people.

I wanted to create time freedom and stand in my purpose.

Success really depends on what you want. But first you have to get clarity on what you want based on what your internal desires and wishes and dreams are, not based on what’s in your external environment.

I hope this inspires you to dream big and go after what you want. Life is short! Live it to its fullest and enjoy it while you’re doing it.

If you’re ready to take that step and start changing your life, please call me! I’d lve to connect with you.
